Biografia de Alphaville
¿Quién es Alphaville? - Alphaville es una agrupación musical, proveniente de Münster, Alemania, se caracterizan por tocar el género Synth-pop (derivado de la música electrónica, fusionada con la música disco, el new wave y el pop). En sus inicios la banda estuvo conformada por: Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd y Frank Mertens. - - - Inicios de Alphaville en la Música - Tras la evolución de varias bandas, en 1982 nació Forever Young, conformada por los músicos Bernhard Lloyd, Frank Mertens y el cantante Marian Gold, tiempo después esta agrupación pasaría a llamarse Alphaville. - - - Trayectoria y Legado de Alphaville - Un año más tarde, en 1983, la agrupación conquista el corazón de millones de fanáticos tras el lanzamiento de su primer single llamado "Big in Japan", conjuntamente con los temas "Sounds like a Melody" y "Forever Young", quienes forman parte de su placa discográfica "Forever Young". Tras el boom que tuvieron el tecladista Frank Mertens decide retirarse de la agrupación, es por ello que llega el tecladista y guitarrista Ricky Echolette. - - Su segundo disco llamado "Afternoons in Utopia", fue estrenado en el año 1986 y obtuvo un gran auge en la industria musical con su single "Dance with me". Dos años más tarde realizan un compendio de temas desde sus inicios hasta 1988 y debuta su tercer álbum titulado "The Breathtaking Blue", donde se encuentra su single "Romeos". - - En 1994 lanzan su álbum de estudio "Prostitute", realizado en Alemania y tres años después llega "Salvation". Desde el 1997 hasta el 2010 la banda se dedicaba a realizar un compendio de placas discográficas y en ese año lanzan su sexto disco titulado "Catching Rays on Giant.1". Cabe destacar que en el 2003, Bernhard Lloyd se retira de la banda, quedando el cantante Marian Gold y los músicos Dave Goodes y Jakob Kiersch. Para el año 2017 se estrena su nuevo disco llamado "Strange Attractor". - - Legado de Alphaville - La agrupación ha sufrido varios cambios desde el nombre, ya que en sus inicios Alphaville se llamaba Forever Young, hasta los integrantes, la banda fue fundada por Marian Gold, Frank Mertens y Bernhard Lloyd, luego fueron integrándose más músicos como: David Goodes, Jakob Kiersch, Carsten Brocker, Maja Kim, Ricky Echolette, Robbie France y Martin Lister.
