Biografia de Interpol
¿Quién es Interpol? - Interpol es una banda rock que fue fundada en Nueva York, Estados Unidos, en el año 1998, y actualmente está integrada por Paul Banks (vocalista, guitarra), Daniel Kessler (guitarra) y Sam Fogarino (batería). - - La historia de la banda Interpol empezó en el año 1997, cuando Greg Drudy y Daniel Kessler se conocieron en la Universidad de Nueva York, luego se incorpora Carlos Dengler y cuando necesitan un vocalista, recurrieron a un viejo amigo británico que Kessler había conocido en París. Tiempo más tarde Drudy dejó la banda, y Kessler lo sustituyó por Sam Fogarino, a quien conoció en una tienda de discos local. - - Tras presentarse en dos oportunidades por el circuito alternativo de Nueva York y sus alrededores, publicaron el EP Interpol (2000), con la compañía Fukd, firma underground de la Chemikal. - - Un año después, luego de asistir al famoso programa inglés de la BBC de John Peel, despegan definitivamente a la fama, firmando contrato con el sello discográfico Matador. -; Ver BiograFia Completa
