Biografia de The Doors
¿Quién es The Doors? - The Doors fue una banda de rock estadounidense, formada en Los Ángeles California, en julio del año 1965 y disuelta en el año 1973. Junto a Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, The Beatles y Pink Floyd, se convirtió en uno de los máximos exponentes de la psicodelia de los años 60. El grupo es considerado uno de los más influyentes en la historia del rock, y ha sido descrito como una de las bandas más innovadoras y poderosas en la historia del rock.En 1964, en la playa de Venice, Jim Morrison encontró a un viejo compañero de la Universidad de UCLA, Ray Manzarek, cuatro años mayor que él. - - Ahí mismo comenzaron una casual conversación, y Morrison le dio a leer a Manzarek la letra de Moonlight Drive, un poema que Jim acababa de escribir, entonces Ray (fanático de blues y rock de la época) le pidió a Jim que le cantara el tema, con el cual Manzarek quedó fascinado, y decidieron formar una banda. Ray Manzarek ya estaba en una banda, llamada Rick And The Ravens con su hermano Rick, mientras que Robby Krieger y John Densmore tocaban en The Psychodelic Rangers y conocían a Manzarek de unas clases de meditación.
